30 Day Challenge

After much thought I have decided to convert my Blog to something that will help me to grasp some stability in this crazy unstable world I seem to be living in. After three years of teaching and over 20 years as a student, I have officially reached a stand still in my life. As of August 5, 2011 I am proud to say I have started paying back my student loans for a degree in an over populated career. As I spend the next year without a permanent teaching gig and substituting on a day-to-day basis I find the chaos of not knowing when I will be working a little scary. I also find it difficult to acknowledge that my cheap (I went to a state school for undergrad) yet expensive (it all added up) education is suddenly requesting me to pay them back and I am unable to even use the degrees on  regular basis. Thus due the the instability that is occurring in my present world (which may be the worst thing to ever happen and aren't really that bad) I'm facing myself with a blogging challenge. I will take a topic on this predetermined list below and blog for 30 days about the topic, some days may be short and some days may be long but perhaps after a 30 day challenge of writing I may be ready for a 1 year challenge to myself.  Hopefully, my ramblings will assist me in staying grounded, focused, and just perhaps to keep me from feeling lost in this adult world I have come to live in.
