30 Day Challenge-- Day 5
Day 5 – How important you think education is?
Very important! As a person trying to break into the teaching profession permanently it is important that we receive the essential support of the government via funding. It is also important that older teacher retire promptly to allow room for those of us new teachers to bring our modern skills into practice to enhance the education and learning environment of children. I feel that society has placed a high value on higher education but the cost has become to great and the reward of a career is hard to come by at this time. I wonder if it is worth the $100,000 that many of us are in debt but yet we have no job to pay for the education which I believe so greatly in.

30 Day Challenge-- Day 3 and 4
Day 3 – Your idea of the perfect first date.
Going to the hockey game with Jeff and his best friends! This was the best date I've ever been on. It was perfect because it gave me more of a glimpse into his relationships with his friends.
Day 4 – Your favorite photograph of your best friend.
Taken by J.Fish Photography at a drivers meeting. I love the look of this picture.

30 Day Challenge-- Day 2
Day 2 — Your favorite movie
DUH!! The Notebook!!! This movie is everything every girl desires. A strong passion for your significant other and a love so strong that nothing can keep you from each other. I cry when I hear the opening music to this movie...
Ok so P.S I love you is a very very close second for romantic movies.
Finding Nemo and Cars are definitely my favorite kids movies
The Goonies and The Sandlot are my two favorite movies from childhood. Oh and Annie but I'm sure my family could careless if they ever see this one again.

30 Day Challenge-- Day 1
Day 1 — Your favorite song
So currently I do not have just one favorite song but several.
Crazy Girl by Eli Young Band--- I have come to enjoy this song because Jeff has recently taking to singing this song on a very frequent basis.
Cost of Livin' by Ronnie Dunn--- is probably the one I have found myself relating to the must as of lately because of the current economic times that the country has been experiencing.
Remind Me by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood--- I find myself cranking up this song and singing at the top of my lungs to this song (okay so only when nobody else is there to listen).
I realize these are all country songs but that is the current genre that I find myself dialing my satellite radio into.

30 Day Challenge
After much thought I have decided to convert my Blog to something that will help me to grasp some stability in this crazy unstable world I seem to be living in. After three years of teaching and over 20 years as a student, I have officially reached a stand still in my life. As of August 5, 2011 I am proud to say I have started paying back my student loans for a degree in an over populated career. As I spend the next year without a permanent teaching gig and substituting on a day-to-day basis I find the chaos of not knowing when I will be working a little scary. I also find it difficult to acknowledge that my cheap (I went to a state school for undergrad) yet expensive (it all added up) education is suddenly requesting me to pay them back and I am unable to even use the degrees on regular basis. Thus due the the instability that is occurring in my present world (which may be the worst thing to ever happen and aren't really that bad) I'm facing myself with a blogging challenge. I will take a topic on this predetermined list below and blog for 30 days about the topic, some days may be short and some days may be long but perhaps after a 30 day challenge of writing I may be ready for a 1 year challenge to myself. Hopefully, my ramblings will assist me in staying grounded, focused, and just perhaps to keep me from feeling lost in this adult world I have come to live in.
